Liminal space resides in a place between adjacent spaces. More precisely it occurs where adjacent spaces encounter one another and the potentiality of each is met with the other.

Gravitating towards spaces and objects of liminality, transition, and transience, I utilize widely varied materials and processes to foster a delicate interplay between the viewer and what they are experiencing.

The objects I create often begin with simple observations and means of production, but gradually mature to incorporate more challenging methodologies. The initial focus on formal relationships are manipulated to produce slight variations and reiterations of the original.

Whether working with audio samples or paper and metal, I move to create awareness of the subtle interaction between the viewer and the artwork.
